Remedial measures for bad wellbeings in the year 2021, Iron female Ox year

I have posted the general wellbeing for year 2021 (Iron Female Ox Year) based on our Bhutanese astrology. I am sure many of you have read it. I got lots of messages requesting for the Dothrab, remedial measures.

The following are the general brief curative measures for bad or black forces.

Prayer to Mañjuśrī

by Mipham Rinpoche

gang tsé dak gi shyenpen sem kyi su

As, out of the wish to benefit others,

nying ü pema shyönnur khyö dren né

I visualize you upon the fresh lotus in my heart,

lek shé dütsi drayang tro gyi na

May the melodious sound of your nectar-like speech,

jampal dak gi yi la pal tsol chik

O Mañjuśrī, confer its splendour upon my mind!

Life force (Srog) strengthening remedy.

Amongst the five  srok (སྲོག་) or life force is the most vital for both male and female. It represents the status of life strength. The life essence resides in the heart and it relates to our vitality. If one’s srok is negative or weak in the almanac, then there is danger of illness or accidents, which can lead to death.

In the Dar-Gue chart (see the image) if your life force is "X" means your life is bad. If it is "XX" it indicates your life force is in danger this year.

Remember our body is comprised of elements and winds, and the life force is the kind of force that holds those elements together. When the life force is weak/worst, the winds and elements scatter and a person dies.

To restore your life force you should:

1. Consult an astrologer or Lam and perform a la-lu and long-life practices

2. Make tsa-tsa (clay stupa) quantity equal to your age, consecrate and place it on clean rocky cliff that is

    not affected by rain.

3. Receive long-life empowerment and wang (Blessing).

4. Recite Tshe-Zung

5. Free animals from slaughterhouse. This activity will increase your life. If you can afford free Cattle, if not than at least a Goat. If you find that also difficult than cock/hen. Even if that is difficult than free fishes.

6. Avoid eating meat.

7. Perform propitiations for the family and local protectors including Dharma protectors.

By doing the above listed remedial measures your life force can be restored.

LUE "HEALTH FORCE" strengthening solution.

Lue (ལུས་) or body determines the general state of one’s health including good health and bad health. Health is important for human well being and if one’s lue or body score is negative or weak in a certain year, one may become ill or have health problems.

If health is "XX" in the Dar-Gu chart (See image) than your general heath will be worst this year. You will face many health problems (illness) through out the year. It can be termed as "year of sickness" for you. Pregnancy is also high and child that is born will be of immature type and likely to be sick most of the time.

To avert illness, you should always maintain good health hygiene. Maintain cleanliness everywhere. If possible clean the surrounding of the monasteries. Offer white washing or painting of monastery or chorten (Stupa). Offer money to the monks. Perform rituals.

Always ensure one color of your birth element cloth (Vest/shirt/ half paint) is worn all the time. Any piercing or surgery should be avoided.

If children is suffering from prolong sickness, than their name also should be changed.  “Lujur Ja Menjur Ja” means change cloth and change name.

Avoid visiting cremation, new birthplace and construction site.

Wangta (Power) strengthening solution.

Wangthang (དབང་ཐང་) or charisma and esteem refer to our personal power and prestige. It influences our wealth, possessions, and also the ability to realize our goals. This is of special importance for female persons. If wangthang is low or negative, one will struggle to succeed in one’s projects and achieving one’s goals. One would be subjected to difficulties and trails of life.

If you check and find your Wangta "X" and "XX" in the Dar-Gue chart, your wealth has a risk of slipping away and leaving you destitute this year. You will hardly have money in your hand.  No money means a difficult life. And there is also danger of loosing your other wealth.

Therefore, you need to be extra careful and not to lose wealth this year.

The followings are some of the measures you need to do to improve Wangta power to stabilize the bad elements:

1.   Practice charity

2.   Conduct wealth summoning practices (Dzambhala), occasionally conduct

      chakhu yangchu (Namsey Tsheringma) ritual.

3.   Clean and take care of religious centers.

4.   Avoid risky investments.

5.   Practice generosity

6.   Make lots of offering

7.   Stop buying and selling.

Wangta is especially important for woman as Lungta is for man.

Lungta (Wind Horse) strengthening solution.

Lungta (རླུང་རྟ་) generally rendered as wind horse, is linked to one's fortune and luck either at birth or for the year. It is our capacity to keep bad circumstances away. Lungta acts as coordinator and binder of all life forces. If one’s lungta is bad or weak, one will be unfortunate and unlucky. One’s repuation may be at stake it will be difficult to achieve anything. New projects such as starting a business will be unsuccessful.

Lungta is very critical for male. If one’s lung-ta is low obstacles constantly arises. When lung-ta is high good opportunities abound.

In the Dar-Gue chart if your Lungta is marked "X" & "XX" than there will be continuous trouble coming one after another. On the other side If Lungta is good or marked "OOO" than it can easily pacify other life forces even if they are black (like Life force, Lu and La).

The remedial measure to increase your Lungta is to raise no of Wind Horse Prayer Flag based on your element as:

1.   Tiger, Horse, Dog:  White

2.   Rooster, Ox, Snake:  Blue

3.   Pig, Sheep, Hare: Red

4.   Mouse, Dragon, Monkey

It is also very important to see a good day to hoist the flag, otherwise instead of bringing good luck it will bring bad luck continuously as long as flag remain on the pole or rope. The following are the bad days according to the Bhutanese where you should not hoist flag by all means:

Days 10, 22 of lunar months 1, 5, 9

Days 7, 19 of lunar months 2, 6, 10

Days 4, 16, 28 of lunar months 3, 7, 11

Days 1, 13, 25 of lunar months 4, 8, 12

So be bit careful on this. Prior to hoisting, the prayer flags require consecration by a Lama.

La (Soul) strengthening procedures.

Lah (བླ་) is linked to our mental and emotional stability. It is a protective force. Sometimes lah becomes disconnected and wonders from the body and needs to be brought back by performing rituals. Mischievous spirits can steal Lah usually. When this happens one becomes sick. If lah is low or negative, then there will be mental disorders. One’s mind will not be stable. In general, there will no peace of mind. When lah is bad we can face danger. When we enter house that contains unhappy spirits or ghosts we can sense their presence.

La or soul is the fifth life forces. In the Yungdrung Bön tradition, the soul is known as la.  According to sutra, the soul is defined as the innermost, subtle essence of the five elements of space, air, fire, water and earth. It is somewhat similar to the life force but concerned with the emotional or psychological state of a person in a particular year.

Generally, astrologers don't use this. But, I feel it is very important because it will predict about the state of your mentality.

Refer, Dar-Gue chart under your birth sign. If you find your La with "X" or "XX" than your emotional state of mind will not be stable this year. You will always experience anxiety, worrisome and depression.  Your soul tends to go out from your body. If it does than you will become mad.

Remedial measure:

According to texts, “Virtue is the mother of the soul.”  Therefore, acts of virtue strengthen the force of the soul.  Show respect to elders, teachers and monk/lamas. Always think good of others. Give alms to the poor. Avoid eating meat, etc.

You have to also consult astrologer and perform other rituals to appease local deities and other dakinis to strengthen your soul or bring back your soul.

In addition to the above birth year with bad year phase the following birth year based on bad factors are also mentioned. Those people are cautioned to be very careful because year 2021 is inauspicious to you..

Lo-Khak

Every 12th year, whenever the animal sign for the current year is the same as your birth year, is considered Lo-Khak - inauspicious. This is the most feared of the inauspicious-years techniques.

This year Lo-Khak is OX year.

Dun-Zur

If the current year sign is the 7th or opposite of the birth sign this is called Dun-Zur and is also bad. People with Sheep birth sign is Dunzur.

If the current year is the 5th sign (i.e. Snake-Bird), then this is also not good. Snake and Rooster is the fifth sign this year. Be careful.

Again, if the current year is same element as the birth element, then this too is not-so-good. People born in 1961 (Iron OX) is also not good this year. Needs to exercise extreme care.

Shi-Shey

This refers to the 4th animal sign (either way) from the birth sign. When either of those signs are the current sign for the year, it is Shi-Shey. So, Dragon and Dog fall under Shi-shey this year.

Gu-Mik

The Gu-Mik or 9th  Eye Spot. When the animal sign for the year is the ninth animal sign from the birth animal sign, this is Gu-Mik an inauspicious year. This year all Snake fall under Gu-Mik. The year would be tough year for them.

Mewa Gu-Mik

When the Mewa for the current year is the same as the Mewa for your birth year, this is Mewa Gu-Mik, an inauspicious year. The current Mewa is Drukar (6). All birth year with 6 mewa is also inauspicious this year.

Same Element

When the element for the year is the same element as the birth element, the year is considered inauspicious. The current element is Iron. All those birth sign with iron element is also not a good year this year.

Advice: Those who falls under above category to kindly consult your astrologer to undertake further remedial measures. Or you can buy the Lomo book and carry out the remedial measures as stated.

General Wellbeing for the year 2021(Iron Female Ox Year)

The Bhutanese and the Himalayan people believe in the five properties, which shape our life. The five life forces are very critical and one must know this as it shows the nature and qualities of each family member in the given calendar year.

1. Amongst the five  srok (སྲོག་) or life force is the most vital for both male and female. It represents the status of life strength. The life essence resides in the heart and it relates to our vitality. If one’s srok is negative or weak in the almanac, then there is danger of illness or accidents which can lead to death.

2. Lue (ལུས་) or body determines the general state of one’s health including good health and bad health. Health is important for human well being and if one’s lue or body score is negative or weak in a certain year, one may become ill or have health problems.

5. Lah (བླ་) is linked to our mental and emotional stability. It is a protective force. Sometimes lah becomes disconnected and wonders from the body and needs to be brought back by performing rituals. Mischievous spirits can steal Lah usually. When this happens one becomes sick. If lah is low or negatibe, than there will be mental disorders. One’s mind will not be stable. In general, there will no peace of mind. When lah is bad we can face danger. When we enter house that contains unhappy spirits or ghosts we can sense their presence.

To find the status of these five properties of life, one an use the animal sign of one’s birth and consult the status in an annual almanac. It is complicated process to calculate on one’s own. Thus, it is easier to consult an almanac. In the almanac the five properties are presented with following scores for the specific year for each animal sign.

1. 000 means the best

2. 00 means very good

3. 0 means good

4. 0X means neutral

5. X means bad

6. XX means very bad.

It is difficult to find worthy vessels to spread such profound teachings,
And I should therefore curb the elaborations of excessive talk.
In future, may the one called Dorje Tokme Tsal
Take out this dharma to aid the teachings and beings!
This was spoken in a state of wonder.

Thus, when arriving at the glorious cave in Paro Taktsang, the supreme place where Guru Dorje Drolö subjugated all the māras and damsi demons, from the accomplishment cycle of the profound earth treasure of Dorje Drolö, Complete Sugata Assembly, merely the essential body maṇḍala, since it is so beneficial, was brought forth through ḍākinī symbols and committed to writing. May this be a cause for the vanquishing of all flaws and failings among the teachings and beings. Maṅgalam. 23rd day of the seventh month of the Iron Horse year (1990).
