Great Perfect Wisdom Great Vehicle Sutra on the Profundity of Filial Love

Thus have I heard? At one time the Buddha was staying at Vulture Peak in Rājagṛha, surrounded by a large gathering of bodhisattvas and śrāvakas, by monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen as well as by gods, dragons, and all kinds of deities. In one mind they listened to the Buddha preach the Dharma, gazing at the Buddha's face without blinking. 

The Buddha said, “Everyone born into this world has a father and mother for his parents. Without a father one cannot be born, without a mother one cannot grow up. First everyone grows in his mother's womb for ten months. 

When the time of birth arrives, he comes into the world, dropping onto the grass. Then father and mother bring him up, laying him in a crib and holding him in their arms. When the parents saying ‘Hai, hai,' he smiles, saying nothing. As soon as he becomes hungry he needs to eat, and without his mother he is not fed. As soon as he becomes thirsty he needs to drink, and without his mother he cannot suckle. Even if the mother herself is hungry, she will nurse him, giving him all the sweet things while she herself eats untasty food. At bedtime, she places him in a dry spot while she herself lies in a wet place.

Really, I assure you that (the child) is treated with love and brought up receiving manifold favors and care from his parents. Especially the mother fosters him with great affection, and she takes him out of his crib stained by his own filth and cleans him without paying any attention to the dirt under her fingernails, which comes from his filth. 
“I say firmly that the amount of milk a baby sucks from his mother comes to as much as eight koku (hu) and four to (tou) (i.e., approximately one thousand five hundred and twelve liters). This incomparable affection of the mother can be likened to the endlessness of the sky. Alas! How can we repay our mothers for bringing us up?”

Thereupon his disciple Ānanda asked the Buddha, “World-honored One! I sincerely ask you to preach on how one can repay one's parents' affection.” 

The Buddha said to Ānanda, 
“Listen attentively to my words and think them over carefully. I will explain it to you in great detail. As the parents' favors are like the vastness of the sky, how can we repay them? If a child full of affection and filial piety toward his parents accumulates pious acts, copies Buddhist sutras, produces an ullambana tray on the fifteenth day of the seventh month and offers it full of food and drink to the Buddha and his disciples, then he can attain numerous merits and repay his parents' kindness. Moreover, if someone makes copies of this holy sutra, disseminates it among the people, at the same time keeps it for himself and recites it, then he is a person who repays his parents for their favors. 
“You must know how to requite the favors of your parents. Every day, the parents go out to work. Usually the mother draws water from the well, cooks for and serves another family, works a mortar for hulling, and operates a stone mill. While doing all this, she constantly worries that perhaps her baby is crying or mewling back home, looking for her. When she returns home, the baby catches sight of his mother, waggles his head in joy in his crib or crawls on his belly while crying for his mother. Bending toward the baby she kneels down, stretches out her hands, and wipes the dust off the child. Then she kisses him and gives him the breast (to suckle). 
Seeing her child, the mother is full of delight; seeing his mother, the baby is full of joy. Their mutual affection is merciful and compassionate, and nothing could be more precious than this affection. 

“In due course, the child grows to be two or three years old. Now he is able to walk, going here and there according to his own will. He does not know when it is time to eat without his mother's attention. Occasionally the father and mother may be invited to dinner and entertained with (a meal) of biscuits and meat. The parents don't eat the food but bring it home and give it to their child. Nine times out of ten, the child is very pleased with the food his parents bring home to him. But it may sometimes happen that the parents return home without anything for the child, and then he cries and fusses because he has received no present. Such a troublesome baby is very unfilial and deserves the punishment for rebelliousness (i.e., having his body torn to pieces). 

On the other hand, a filial child does not cry and fuss upon not receiving a present. He is always obedient to his parents and of gentle nature. 

“When later on the child grows up and begins to keep company with his own friends, his parents comb his hair and arrange it nicely. If he desires to wear good clothes, the parents will wear inferior clothes in order to furnish him with new and good items. 

When he finally begins to go out on his own, whether on private or public business, the parents think of him north to south, following him with their hearts east to west, inclining their heads to one side [in concern for him everywhere he goes and whatever he does]. 

“When the child reaches marriageable age, he marries a woman from another family. After marriage he is very happy with his wife, enjoying pleasures in their private room. While the daily life of the newlyweds is full of sweet talk, he treats his parents coldly. Though both his father and mother are now old and do not have much energy, he has no wish to see them all day long or have any intimate conversation (with them). 
“In due time, one parent dies and (the other now) lives all alone. Lonely after the death of their spouse, the parent may now be compared to a traveler without kin who is staying in another person's house. Having no warm clothes to protect himself against the cold in winter, he encounters numerous difficulties. In addition, an aged and depressed parent may become infected with lice and cannot sleep either day or night. At last he heaves a great sigh of disappointment with life, repines at his own misfortune, and says, ‘What actions in a past life have caused me to have such an unfilial child?' 

“When the parents call on their child asking for a favor, he becomes furiously angry (with them). Not only he but his wife and (their) children abuse his parents, laughing scornfully with their heads down. In this case the wife is unfilial as well, and (such an unfilial child) deserves the punishment of having his body torn to pieces again. 

Treating one's aged parents in the way described here is equal to the five grave sins expounded in the Buddhist sutras. 

“When some urgent problem arises and the parents call on the child for help, he will only respond one time out of ten. Thus he is constantly disobeying his parents, shouting out furiously and full of scorn, ‘you had better die soon! Why are you still in this world?'Hearing such words from their child, the parents grieve and suffer intense agony. With eyes swollen from weeping, they cry, ‘As a baby you would have been lost without us, you could not have survived. We brought you into this world but perhaps it would have been better if we had never had a child.'” 

Continuing his sermon, the Buddha told Ānanda, “If any good man or woman, for the sake of their own father and mother, keeps, chants, and copies even one passage or one verse from this sutra, which in its full title is called the ‘Great Perfect Wisdom Great Vehicle Sutra on the Profundity of Filial Love,' if only one passage or one verse reaches their ears and eyes, then the five rebellious sins will be erased completely. Nothing sinful will remain forever. They will now see the Buddhas, hear the Buddhist teachings, and soon be able to attain liberation.” 

At this time, Ānanda rose from his seat. Wearing the upper robe over his left shoulder to show his respect, he knelt on his right knee, joined his palms, and said, “World-honored One, what is the title of this sutra? How should we receive and keep it?” 

Thereupon the Buddha told Ānanda, “This sutra is entitled the ‘Sutra on the Profundity of Filial Love.' Any sentient being can bring blessings to his parents. When he copies this sutra, offers incense, prays to the Buddhas, worships them, and makes offerings to the Three Jewels, such as providing alms food for the community of monks, then it may be known that he indeed repays the kindness of his father and mother.” 
 
Having thus heard the Buddha preach this sutra, Indra, Brahma, the gods, human beings, and all other sentient beings present at that time were greatly pleased and awakened the aspiration for enlightenment (Bodhicitta). 

Their joyful cries shook the earth and their tears streamed down like rain. 

Worshiping the Buddha, they fell prostrate on the ground and bowed to the Buddha's feet. Thereafter they upheld the Buddha's teaching and delightedly practiced it.

Citipati is waiting for Thieves and Criminals at the cemetery to finish them off. Be careful

Scary Right! But there is solid reason for the revenge.

The Lords of the Cemetery, said to represent one of seventy-five forms of Mahakala.

According to Buddhist legend, the Citipati were originally a pair of ascetics who became so lost in profound meditation they failed to notice a thief cutting off their heads. Understandably agitated, they took a vow of infinite revenge and became ferocious enemies of thieves and criminals, though any vengeance would have to be exacted from their graveyard residence, as they never leave.

The Citipati were once two ascetics meditating near a graveyard, who were in such a deep state of meditation that they did not notice a thief who had sneak upon them. The thief proceeded to cut off their heads and threw them into the dust without the ascetics even noticing, which caused them to reach enlightenment. This is usually symbolized by a third eye on their foreheads.

Furious by the act, the Citipati declared vengeance to the thief, and are the enemy of thieves and other criminals. However, being skeletons, the Citipati cannot leave cemeteries and can only get their hands on thieves passing through them. 

While waiting for passing criminals, the Citipati pass their time by dancing and blowing horns. Their dancing also serves as a symbol for death and rebirth, for the Citipati consist of both halves of the human body, male and female. Their skeletal form is a reminder of the impermanence of life and eternal change. 

Thieves in Buddhist countries usually stay clear of cemeteries out of fear of the Citipati who dwells there. Therefore, the Citipati is a protector of graveyards, often titled Lord of the Cemetery.

Sorry! If I am giving cautionary advice to thieves and criminals.

One Mantra can purify all your negative karma. Recite and liberate yourself when you have an opportunity.


Medicine Buddha mantra is much more precious than skies of gold, diamonds and wish fulfilling jewels. All this wealth means nothing because it can’t purify all the negative karma. 

Medicine Buddha mantra is much more precious than those wealth because it leaves imprints of the whole path to enlightenment in your mind. It ceases all the gross and subtle defilements and makes you achieve enlightenment. 

Medicine Buddha had taken 12 vows when he was Bodhisattva to help all sentient beings before he became a Buddha. 

Just remembering medicine Buddha’s name and his vows brings healing. Reading the twelve vows is also a healing experience. Reciting the Medicine Guru sutra is very powerful and brings out immense benefits to you and other sentient beings.

According to this Sutra, Bhaisajyaguru, Buddha selflessly wrote:
  1. I vow that my body shall shine as beams of brilliant light on this infinite and boundless world, showering on all beings, getting rid of their ignorance and worries with my teachings. May all beings be like me, with a perfect status and character, upright mind and soul, and finally attaining enlightenment like the Buddha. 
  2. I vow that my body be like crystal, pure and flawless, radiating rays of splendid light to every corner, brightening up and enlightening all beings with wisdom. With the blessings of compassion, may all beings strengthen their spiritual power and physical energy, so that they could fulfill their dreams in the right track.
  3. I vow that I shall grant by means of boundless wisdom, all beings with the inexhaustible things that they require, and relieving them from all pains and guilt resulting from materialistic desires. Although clothing, food, accommodation and transport are essentials, it should be utilized wisely as well. Besides self-consumption, the remaining should be generously shared with the community so that all could live harmoniously together.
  4. I vow to lead those who have gone astray back to the path of righteousness. Let them be corrected and returned to the Buddha way for enlightenment.
  5. I vow that I shall enable all sentient beings to observe precepts for spiritual purity and moral conduct. Should there be any relapse or violation, they shall be guided for repentance. Provided they truly regret their wrongdoings, and vow for a change with constant prayers and strong faith in the Buddha, they could receive the rays of forgiveness, recover their lost moral and purity.
  6. I vow that all beings who are physically disabled or sick in all aspects be blessed with good health, both physically and mentally. All who pays homage to Buddha faithfully will be blessed.
  7. I vow to relieve all pain and poverty of the very sick and poor. The sick be cured, the helpless be helped, the poor be assisted.
  8. I vow to help women who are undergoing sufferings and tortures and seeking for transformation into men. By hearing my name, paying homage and praying, their wishes would be granted and ultimately attain Buddhahood.
  9. I vow to free all beings from evil thoughts and its control. I shall lead them onto the path of light through inculcating them with righteousness and honor so that they will walk the Buddha way.
  10. I vow to save prisoners who have genuinely repented and victims of natural disasters. Those who are sincere will be blessed by my supreme powers and be freed from sufferings.
  11. I vow to save those who suffer from starvation and those who committed crime to obtain food. If they hear my name and faithfully cherish it, I shall lead them to the advantages of Dharma and favor them with best food and eventually lead a tranquil and happy life.
  12. I vow to save those who suffer from poverty, tormented by mosquitoes and wasps day and night. If they come across my name, cherish it with sincerity and practice dharma to strengthen their merits, they will be able to achieve their wishes.


Who couldn’t feel drawn to a Buddha willing to help us with such powerful vows, simply by virtue of calling his name?


Medicine Buddha’s mantra:
 ཏ་དྱ་ཐཱ༔ ཨོཾ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་མ་ཧཱ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ༔ རཱ་ཛ་ས་མུདྒ་ཏེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔
 "Tayata Om Bhekandze Bhekandze Maha Bhekandze Raja Samudgate Soha"

Mantra meaning in English

"May the many sentient beings who are sick,
Quickly be freed from sickness.
And may all the sicknesses of beings
Never arise again."


Practicing this mantra, it cures us of physical disease, if we chant it 108 times near a glass of water (and with correct pronunciation), the water will be blessed with the healing powers of the mantra.
If we recite this mantra every day (minimum of five malas,), the mantra will purify our negative karma. Also, the daily chanting of the mantra can help the practitioner to overcome physical, mental and spiritual sickness.

Prayer to reverse the disturbances and Agitation of dark time by Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche.

We are in the era of darkness of serious magnitude. Any negativity that happens in any part of the world can affect everyone. Of late serious conflict has broken between USA and Iran. Now we are sure some unpleasant is going to happen. To show supremacy it is likely that there will be use of potential atomic bomb and other lethal missile, which will kill many innocent people. The world is in great danger at the moment due to illogical decision of some evil mined leaders. I am worried, and we all should worry.

The great Yogi Chadral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche has foreseen such future disastrous resulting from use of atomic bomb. Nevertheless late Rinpoche had written incantation prayer that can reverse evil leaders illogical decision of use of weapon of mass destruction.

Let us all recite this prayer to reverse the disturbances and agitation of dark times. We really need to pray this to save Middle East’s innocent people from dying from holocaust.

Guide for this fortunate eon, crown ornament of the Śākyas,

སངས་རྒྱས་གཉིས་པ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྗེ། 
sangye nyipa orgyen tsokyé jé
Second buddha, Lord Orgyen Tsokye,

Eight Close sons headed by

The shared negative karma of beings in this final dark age

Froths as a huge ocean;

དཀར་ཕྱོགས་གཡེལ་ཞིང་ནག་ཕྱོགས་བདུད་སྡེ་ཡིས། 
karchok yel shying nakchok dü dé yi
Goodness is neglected whilst the demons of evil

ཁ་དྲག་དབང་ཆེན་མི་ཆེན་སེམས་རྩ་སྒུལ། 
khadrak wangchen mi chen sem tsa gul
Churns intensely the minds of the powerful and the influential,

འཛམ་གླིང་ཕུང་བྱེད་རྡུལ་མཚོན་དམག་འཁྲུགས་བསླང། 
dzamling pung jé dul tsön mak truk lang
Spitting out wars that could reduce this earth to dust.

ལོག་སྨོན་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་མཚོན་ཆའི་འཐོར་རླུང་ཆེས། 
lok mön trul gyi tsönché tor lung ché
Hurricanes of weapons hatched from perverse aspirations

སྣོད་བཅུད་ཐལ་བའི་རྡུལ་དུ་སྐད་ཅིག་ལ། 
nöchü talwé dul du kechik la
Unleashed to turn instantly the entire universe and its inhabitants into ash.

བརླག་པར་འགྱུར་ཉེའི་ལྟས་ངན་བྱ་མ་རྟ། 
lakpar gyur nyé té ngen ja ma ta
The portents of these bad omens of our approaching total destruction

སྣང་གྲགས་རྟོག་པའི་སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་མངོན་གྱུར་ཀྱང། 
nang drak tokpé chöyul ngöngyur kyang
Appear clearly in the sights, sounds, and thoughts of our world.

མ་རིག་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྨོངས་དང་ཐེ་ཚོམ་རྒྱར། 
marik kyewo mong dang tetsom gyar
Yet the ignorants remain in their webs of delusion and doubt;

རབ་འཐུམས་ད་དུང་བྲེད་དུ་ཅང་མ་ཚོར། 
rab tum dadung dré du chang ma tsor
Exceedingly stupid, they still do not feel alarmed at all.

ཐོས་དང་དྲན་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་འཇིགས་སྐྱེད་པའི། 
tö dang drenpa tsam gyi jik kyepé
Terror from just hearing or thinking

སྔར་མ་བྱུང་བའི་འཛམ་གླིང་འཕོ་འགྱུར་གང།
ngar majungwé dzamling pogyur gang
About transformation of our world like never before fills us.

དེ་ཟློག་ཐབས་དང་རེ་ས་གཞན་ན་མེད།
dé dok tab dang resa shyen namé
We have no means or hope to reverse this,

བསླུ་མེད་དཀོན་མཆོག་རྩ་གསུམ་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ལ། 
lumé könchok tsa sum khyé nam la
Save the undeceiving Three Jewels and Three Roots –

ཁྱེའུས་ཕ་མར་འབོད་འདྲའི་སྨྲེ་སྔགས་ཀྱིས།
khyéü pamar bö dré me ngak kyi
To whom we are crying like small children wailing for parents.

གསོལ་འདེབས་འོ་དོད་འབོད་པ་འདི་ལགས་ན།
soldeb odö böpa di lak na
Please hear our desperate prayers,
ཁྱེད་རྣམས་སྔོན་གྱི་དམ་བཅའ་མ་བསྙེལ་བར། 
khyé nam ngön gyi damcha manyelwar
And remember your earlier commitments.

གློག་ལྟར་མྱུར་བའི་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་ཕྱག་རྐྱོངས་ལ། 
lok tar nyurwé tukjé chak kyong la
Extend your hands of compassion as swift as lightening

མགོན་མེད་འགྲོ་འདི་སྲུང་སྐྱོབས་འཇིགས་སྒྲོལ་མཛོད། 
gönmé dro di sung kyob jik drol dzö
To hold and shelter those lacking protection and free us from our terror.

འཛམ་གླིང་སྐྱེ་འགྲོའི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་འཕྲོག་བྱེད་པའི། 
dzamling kyendrö dekyi trok jepé
When powerful barbarians who plunder the happiness of beings in our world

སྟོབས་ཆེན་ཀླ་ཀློས་གཡུལ་འགྱེད་གྲོས་བཤམས་ཚེ། 
tobchen lalö yul gyé drö sham tsé
plot their battles,

གཙོ་བོ་རྣམས་དང་དེ་ཡི་ཁ་ལོ་བ། 
tsowo nam dang dé yi khalowa
Please transform these leaders and their minions

མ་རུང་གདུག་རྩུབ་བསམ་ངན་འཆང་བ་རྣམས། 
ma rung duktsub sam ngen changwa nam
– such ruthless malefactors –

ཞི་བདེ་མཐུན་པའི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་བསྒྱུར་དུ་གསོལ། 
shyidé tünpé chok su gyur du sol
Into proponents of peace, happiness and harmony.

འགལ་རྐྱེན་དམག་འཁྲུགས་རང་སར་ཞི་བ་དང་།
galkyen mak truk rangsar shyiwa dang
Please extinguish the adverse circumstances of war right on the spot

བདུད་སྡེའི་རྡུལ་མཚོན་ཟློག་ཅིང་གཞོམ་པར་མཛོད། 
düdé dul tsön dok ching shyompar dzö
And expel and destroy these demonic atomic weapons.
དེ་ཡི་མཐུ་ལས་འཛམ་གླིང་ས་ཆེན་འདིར། 
dé yi tu lé dzamling sachen dir
Then throughout our great earth

བསྟན་འཛིན་ཞབས་བརྟན་བཤད་སྒྲུབ་ཕྱོགས་ཀུན་དར། 
tendzin shyabten shedrub chok kündar
Please spread Dharma teachers, learning, and accomplishment in all directions.

བསྟན་འགྲོར་འཚེ་བྱེད་མི་དང་མི་མིན་གྱི། 
ten dror tsé jé mi dang mi min gyi
Liberate the world from the claws of nasty gangs of human and non-human

ནག་པོའི་རྩ་ལག་སྡེར་བཅས་མིང་ཙམ་སྟོངས། 
nakpö tsalak der ché ming tsam tong
Executioners of the teachings and sentient beings, until not even their names remain.

འཇིག་རྟེན་ཀུན་ཏུ་བདེ་ལེགས་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོས།
jikten küntu delek gyachenpö
May vast happiness saturate the whole world,

ཡོངས་ཁྱབ་སྡེ་བཞིའི་དཔལ་གྱིས་མངོན་མཐོ་ཞིང། 
yong khyab dé shyi pal gyi ngön to shying
And beings be elevated through the glory of the four pursuits1 to the Truly High.2

རྫོགས་ལྡན་དུས་བཞིན་འཐབ་འཁྲུགས་འཚེ་མེད་པར། 
dzokden dü shyin tab truk tsemé par
May the times become perfect without the harm of war and strife, as during the Golden Age,

ཀུན་ཀྱང་བདེ་དགའི་གར་གྱིས་བྲེལ་གྱུར་ཅིག 
kün kyang dé gé gar gyi drel gyur chik
With everyone constantly enraptured in the dance of bliss and joy.

སྐྱབས་གནས་མཆོག་གསུམ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་དང་། 
kyabné chok sum gyatsö tukjé dang
Through the compassion of the ocean of the Three Jewels

ཆོས་དབྱིངས་རྣམ་ཀུན་མཆོག་ལྡན་བདེན་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས། 
chöying namkün chokden den tob kyi
And the power of the truth of the dharmadhātu endowed with all supreme aspects,
བདག་ཅག་བསམ་པ་དག་པས་གསོལ་བཏབ་དོན།
dakchak sampa dakpé soltab dön
May the purposes of our pure prayers be fulfilled

ཇི་ལྟར་རེ་སྨོན་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ཅིག 
jitar ré mön yishyin drub gyur chik
And our hopes and aspirations accomplished just the same.

ཏདྱཐཱ། པཉྩ་དྲི་ཡ་ཨ་ཝ་བྷོ་དྷ་ན་ཡེ་སྭ་ཧཱ། 
teyata pentsa driya awa bodhanaye soha

ཞེས་པའང་འཛམ་གླིང་ས་ཆེན་འདིའི་སྟེང་དུ་གནས་པའི་རྒྱལ་བའི་བསྟན་དང་སྐྱེ་འགྲོའི་ཚེ་སྲོག །སྣོད་བཅུད་ཀྱི་དགེ་མཆེན་མ་ལུས་པ་སྐད་གཅིག་ཉིད་ལ་འཇོམས་པའི་ནུས་ཤུགས་ཅན་རྡུལ་ཕྲན་དུག་གི་མཚོན་ཆ་ལག་ལེན་དུ་བསྟར་ནས་མི་རྣམས་ཁ་དག་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་མཚོན་འཁྲུགས་དྲག་པོ་སྔར་མ་བྱུང་བ་ཞིག་དུས་ཡུན་མི་རིང་བར་འབྱུང་ཉེ་བའི་ལ་ཉེ་དང་ལྟས་མཚན་ཉིན་རེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཇེ་ཆེར་འགྲོ་བར་བརྟེན། བཟོད་བླག་དང་བྲལ་བའི་སྐྱོ་ཤས་དང་འཇིགས་དངངས་དྲག་པོས་རྒྱུད་དབང་མེད་དུ་བསྐུལ་བའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་བུ་ཆུང་མ་ལ་འབོད་པའམ། འགག་དོག་མོའི་ཨོ་རྒྱན་པདྨའི་དཔེ་ལྟར།
The use of the poison of atomic weapons that have the power to destroy in a single second the presence of the Buddha’s teachings and the lives of sentient beings on this great earth of ours, and every bit of goodness in the universe and its inhabitants, will destroy the human race. The time when these extremely lethal weapons never seen before will be used is not far off—signs and indications are growing each day. So, moved irrepressibly by insupportable sadness and intense fear, we must call out like children wailing for their mothers to the one who can stop this: Orgyen Padma.


སྐྱབས་གནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་རྒྱ་མཚོར་ཐུགས་དམ་གནད་བསྐུལ་གྱི་གསོལ་འདེབས་འདི་ཉིད་དེང་དུས་ཀུན་གྱིས་ཁ་ཏོན་བྱ་བ་དང་། དར་རས་ལ་བྲིས་ཏེ་རི་རྩེ་དང་། ཟམ་རྡུར་སོགས་སུ་འཕྱར་ན་དགོས་པ་དང་ཕན་ཡོན་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་སྙམ་པས་ངེད་ལ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བྱེད་པ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཐུགས་ལ་གཞུག་ཅེས་སྤྲང་འཆལ་བུདྡྷ་བཛྲས་རབ་ཚེས་ཆུ་མོ་ཕག་ལོ་ནག་པ་ཟླ་བའི་ཡར་ཚེས ༡༣ དགེ་བར་བྲིས་པ་འདིས་ཀྱང་བསྟན་ཞབས་ཀླ་ཀློས་སྡུད་པ་ཕྱིར་བསྲིང་བའི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་ཅིག། 
Thinking of the tremendous need for and benefit of reciting and writing on silk to hoist on mountain tops and hang from bridges, a prayer such as this, which invokes the most important sacred pledges and wisdom of the ocean of the Three Jewels of refuge, I, the vagabond Buddha Vajra (Sangye Dorje), wrote this with a pure intention on the thirteenth day of the third month in the year of the female water sow. Those with faith in me should keep this in their hearts. May the merit of writing this purge the barbarian hordes who trample the sublime teachings.

If one Wishes to Control the Earthquakes one can recite the specific mantra

Oneself instantly arises into the Destroyer Qualified Gone Beyond, Mighty Shakya (Shakyamuni Buddha), golden color, right hand is in the mudra controlling the earth, left hand is in the mudra of concentration, being in the presence of the bodhi tree, and seated on the lotus which covers the world of the great thousand (of the three thousand galaxies). Due to the power of the blessing sitting in the vajra posture, controlling the earth, think that none of the three worlds can move ‐ even the mere movement of the poresof the earths.

ༀ་མུ་ནེ་མུ་ནེ་མཧཱ་མུ་ན་ཡེ་སྭཱཧཱ།
OM MUNE MUNE MAHAA MUNAYE SVAHA 

ༀ་ཧཻ། ཏིཥྛ་ཏིཥྛ། བྷནྡ་བྷནྡ དྷཱ་ར་ཡ་དྷཱ་ར་ཡ་ནི་རུནྡྷ་ནི་རུནྡྷ་བྷཱུ་མི་ཙ་ལ་ཨུ མ་ཎ་ཡེ་སྭཱཧཱ།
OM HAE / TISHTHA TISHTHA/ BHANDA BHANDA / DHAARAYA DHAARAYA NIRUNDHA NIRUNDHA BOOMI TSALA URNANA MANAYESVAHA 

By reciting this one should not have doubt (that one will not experience the effect of earthquakes). 


This was written by the great holy being Miphampa (one of the great scholars who is extremely well known in all the four traditions, a good hearted and pure holy being).
