‘Chab Thruel’ (Water blessing)

Whenever a great Rinpoche or lama happen to visit your vicinity you must have seen someone taking their family to the Rinpoche to receive Chab Thruel or you must have gone yourself to receive the same. So do you know what is the significance of this particular blessing?

 Chop Thruel is a purification water blessing. It is a powerful healing ceremony conducted on request by highly acclaimed lama to anyone desiring an elevation of spirit or those experiencing emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual difficulties. 

The lama chants healing prayers and then blesses the person by sprinkling sacred water on top of their head. Little amount of water is also given to the person to drink after completion. 

The ceremony helps in removing the obstacles form a person. 

Kindly note that it is very important one should not defile oneself when one is planning to receive Chab Thruel. So strictly avoid meat, eggs and onions on the day of the ceremony.
