༄༅།།འཕགས་པའི་ཡུལ་གྱི་གནས་ཆེན། །
The great sacred places of the Noble Land (India),
བྱ་རྒོད་ཕུང་པོའི་རི་བོ། །
The Vulture Peak Mountain,
བསིལ་བ་ཚལ་གྱི་དུར་ཁྲོད། །
The Cool Grove charnel ground,
ན་ལནྡ་ཡི་ཆོས་འཁོར། །
And the turning of the Dharma Wheel at Nālandā —
ལ་སོགས་ཡུལ་གྱི་སྙིང་བཅུད། །
These are the very essence of that sacred land.
རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཀྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར། །
In the royal capital of the king’s realm,
ཆོས་རྒྱལ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོའི། །
Where the influence of the Dharma King, Bimbisara,
མངའ་ཐང་དར་ཞིང་རྒྱས་ས། །
Spread widely and flourished,
མཉམ་མེད་ཐུབ་པའི་དབང་པོ། །
There is the peerless Lord of the Sages (the Buddha),
དགྲ་བཅོམ་འབུམ་གྱི་བཞུགས་གནས། །
The dwelling place of a hundred thousand Arhats,
ཀ་ལན་ཏ་ཀའི་བྱ་ཚོགས། །
And the gathering of birds at Kalandaka,
འཇིགས་མེད་བདེ་བར་འཁྱམས་ས།
Roaming fearlessly and in bliss.
འོད་མའི་ཚལ་ཞེས་གྲགས་པའི།
At the place renowned as the “Odey Ma Grove,”
ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བའི་ཤུལ་དུ།
Amidst the ancient ruins of Jetavana Garden,
རྒྱ་འབྲུག་མཐུན་འབྲེལ་དམ་ཟབ།
Stands a profound symbol of the close ties between India and Bhutan.
མི་ལོ་ལྔ་བཅུ་འཁོར་བའི།
On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary,
དུས་བཟང་རྗེས་དྲན་རྟེན་མཆོག
This supreme memorial of an auspicious event,
སྨན་ལྗོངས་དཔལ་ལྡན་འབྲུག་དགོན།
The Glorious Druk Monastery of Menjong (Bhutan),
འོག་མིན་གཉིས་པའི་ཁང་བཟང༌།
With its excellent second temple dedicated to Avalokiteśvara,
གསར་བཞེངས་གྲུབ་པའི་རབ་གནས།
Has been newly built and consecrated.
རྟེན་འབྲེལ་བཟང་པོའི་མཛད་སྒོར།
To all the honored guests who have gathered
For this virtuous celebration of auspicious interdependence,
བྱོན་པའི་སྐུ་མགྲོན་ཡོངས་ལ།
To all the guests who have come,
དགའ་སྐྱིད་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི།
We offer prayers for abundant joy and happiness,
བཀྲ་ཤིས་སྨོན་ལམ་ཡོད་དོ།
Prayers of auspiciousness are made.
ཞེས་པའང་མཁན་མིང་འཇིགས་གྲགས་པས་སོ།།།།
Thus, it was composed by the one named Jikdrakpa (𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟳𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗲 𝗞𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗽𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗹𝘂 𝗝𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮).
