Kusung Thug Ghi Mendrel

Offering of Kusung Thug Ghi Mendrel is one of the best offerings one can offer to the Lama that is at the helm of religious teachings. By offering the Mendrel, you are actually offering everything of yourself, creating circumstances that you are clinging to nothing.

When inner Mendrel of one’s own body is offered the skin is considered to be the universal golden ground, the blood the sprinkling of perfumed water, the four limbs the four continents, the other parts of the body the subcontinents, the two eyes the sun and moon, and the other objects of the senses the offering goddesses.

The more one surrenders in this way, the more richness one develops. There is never a problem of running out of things to offer. One’s human life is in itself an immensely rich situation to offer.

Mendrel offering helps to accumulate merits and purify oneself from all the sins. It helps in gaining knowledge and wisdom. The Mendrel offering is also believed to free all sentient beings from samsara.

The Mendrel offering uses some religious objects like statues, scriptures, vase, and ritual draggers that are being carried and offered to the Lama.
