Daily Practice of Guru Rinpoche, Buddha of Medicine

Orgyen Menlha is a deity from the terma tradition of the Nyingma Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Specifically, this is Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche appearing with the attributes of Medicine Buddha and manifesting the healing activities of Medicine Buddha. Thus, here Padmasambhava as Orgyen Menlha is blue in color and holds a skull-cup filled with healing elixir in his right hand and a myrobalan plant in his left.
