སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ནི།
Taking Refuge and Generating Bodhicitta:

སངས་རྒྱས་ཆོས་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་མཆོག་རྣམས་ལ། །
To the Buddhas, the Dharma, and the Supreme Assembly,

བྱང་ཆུབ་བར་དུ་བདག་ནི་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
I take refuge until I attain enlightenment.

བདག་གིས་སྦྱིན་སོགས་བགྱིས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས། །
By the merits of practicing generosity and so forth,

འགྲོ་ལ་ཕན་ཕྱིར་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག །
May I achieve buddhahood for the benefit of all beings.

ལན་གསུམ།
Recite three times.

ལྷ་བསྐྱེད་པ་ནི།
Visualizing the Deity:

བདག་སོགས་མཁའ་ཁྱབ་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི།།
Upon the crown of the heads of myself and all sentient beings pervading space,

སྤྱི་གཙུག་པད་དཀར་ཟླ་བའི་སྟེང་།།
On a white lotus and moon disc,

ཧྲཱི༔ལས་འཕགས་མཆོག་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས།།
From the syllable HRĪḤ arises the noble and supreme Avalokiteshvara,

དཀར་གསལ་འོད་ཟེར་ལྔ་ལྡན་འཕྲོ།།
Radiating clear white light with five-colored rays,

མཛེས་འཛུམ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས།།
Beautiful and smiling, gazing with compassionate eyes,

ཕྱག་བཞིའི་དང་པོ་ཐལ་སྦྱར་མཛད།།
The first pair of hands are joined at the palms,

འོག་གཉིས་ཤེལ་ཕྲེང་པད་དཀར་བསྣམས།།
The lower two hold a crystal mala and a white lotus,

དར་དང་རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱན་གྱིས་སྤྲས།།
Adorned with silks and jeweled ornaments,

རི་དྭགས་པགས་པའི་སྟོད་གཡོགས་གསོལ།།
Dressed in an antelope skin robe,

འོད་དཔག་མེད་པའི་དབུ་རྒྱན་ཅན།།
Crowned with Amitābha,

ཞབས་གཉིས་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྐྱིལ་ཀྲུང་བཞུགས།།
Seated in vajra posture with legs crossed,

དྲི་མེད་ཟླ་བར་རྒྱབ་བརྟེན་པ།།
Leaning against a stainless full moon,

སྐྱབས་གནས་ཀུན་འདུས་ངོ་བོར་གྱུར།།
Embodiment of all objects of refuge.

བདག་དང་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་མགྲིན་གཅིག་ཏུ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་པར་བསམ་ལ

I and all sentient beings pray with one voice:

སྐྱོན་གྱིས་མ་གོས་སྐུ་མདོག་དཀར།།
O, with a white form free from faults,

རྫོགས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་དབུ་ལ་བརྒྱན།།
Adorned with the complete Buddha Amitābha on your crown,

ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་འགྲོ་ལ་གཟིགས།།
Gazing upon beings with compassionate eyes,

སྤྱན་གཟིགས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།།
I prostrate to you, Avalokiteshvara.

ཞེས་ཅི་ནུས་བསགས།
Recite this as much as possible.

དེ་ལྟར་རྩེ་གཅིག་གསོལ་བཏབ་པས།།
Through such one-pointed supplication,

འཕགས་པའི་སྐུ་ལས་འོད་ཟེར་འཕྲོས།།
Rays of light emanate from the noble one’s body,

མ་དག་ལས་སྣང་འཁྲུལ་ཤེས་སྦྱངས།།
Purifying all impure karmic appearances and confused perceptions,

ཕྱི་སྣོད་བདེ་བ་ཅན་གྱི་ཞིང་།།
Transforming the outer world into the Blissful Pure Land,

ནང་བཅུད་སྐྱེ་འགྲོའི་ལུས་ངག་སེམས།།
And the inner contents—the body, speech, and mind of all beings—

སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས།།
Become the body, speech, and mind of the Lord Avalokiteshvara,

སྣང་གྲགས་རིག་སྟོང་དབྱེར་མེད་གྱུར།།
Where appearance, sound, and awareness are indivisible from emptiness.

ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།
Om Mani Padme Hum

འཁོར་གསུམ་མི་རྟོག་པའི་རང་ངོར་མཉམ་པར་བཞག །
Rest evenly in the natural state, free from the three conceptual spheres.

བདག་གཞན་ལུས་སྣང་འཕགས་པའི་སྐུ།།
Our bodies and those of others appear as the noble one’s form,

སྒྲ་གྲགས་ཡི་གེ་དྲུག་མའི་དབྱངས།།
All sounds are the melody of the six-syllable mantra,

དྲན་རྟོག་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆེན་པོའི་ཀློང་།།
All thoughts are the expanse of great primordial wisdom,

དགེ་བ་འདི་ཡིས་མྱུར་དུ་བདག །
By this merit, may I quickly

སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ནས།།
Accomplish the state of the Lord Avalokiteshvara,

འགྲོ་བ་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མ་ལུས་པ།།
And may every single being

དེ་ཡི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག །
Be placed in that same state.

𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙗 𝘿𝙤𝙧𝙟𝙞 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙜
As Bodhicitta is so precious,
May those without it now create it.
May those who have it not destroy it,
And may it ever grow and flourish.
