༄༅། །ཆགས་མེད་རི་ཆོས་ནས་བྱུང་བའི་སྨན་བླ་ཟབ་ཆད་མ་ནི།
The Profound Cure (Zabchema)
A Practice of Bhaiṣajya-Guru, Lord of Physicians

རང་གི་ཐུགས་ལས་འོད་ཟེར་མཐིང་ཁ་འཕྲོས། །
rang gi tuk lé özer ting kha trö
From my heart, shoot forth dark blue rays of light,
ཤར་ཕྱོགས་བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ་སྣང་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ། །
sharchok baidurya nang shyingkham su
Which flood towards the east, to the buddhafield of Lapis Lazuli,
བཅོམ་ལྡན་སྨན་བླ་བཞུགས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀར་ཕོག །
chomden men la shyukpé tukkar pok
Where they touch the heart of Bhagavat Bhaiṣajya-Guru, blessed Lord of Physicians,
སྔོན་གྱི་དམ་བཅའ་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་སྨོན་ལམ་དྲན། །
ngön gyi damcha tukkyé mönlam dren
Who is thus reminded of his former pledges, his prayers and aspirations.
འོད་ཟེར་བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ་ཡི་མདོག་འདྲ་འཕྲོས། །
özer baidurya yi dok dra trö
In turn, he sends back further rays of lapis lazuli coloured light,
བདག་དང་བསྲུང་བྱ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལུས་ལ་ཐིམ། །
dak dang sungja nam kyi lü la tim
Which dissolve into my own body and all those who need protection.
ནད་ཀུན་བ་མོར་ཉི་ཟེར་ཕོག་འདྲར་བསྒོམ། །
né künwa mor nyizer pok drar gom
Thus, I imagine all diseases evaporating,
Dwindling to nothing like frost in sunlight.
སངས་རྒྱས་སྨན་གྱི་བླ་བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ་འོད་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

སངས་རྒྱས་སྨན་གྱི་བླ་བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ་འོད་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོས་སྔོན་སྨོན་ལམ་ཆེན་པོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་བཏབ་པའི་བདེན་པ་དང་། །
sangye men gyi la baidurya ö kyi gyalpö ngön mönlam chenpo chunyi tabpé denpa dang
Lord of Physicians, Radiant Lapis Lazuli King –
By the truth of your pledge, your twelve great aspirations,
བདེན་པའི་ཚིག་དེས་བདག་སོགས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ནད་ཐམས་ཅད་ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
denpé tsik dé dak sok semchen tamché kyi né tamché danta nyi du shyiwar gyur chik
And by the truth of each of your words, without exception,
May each and every illness that affects sentient beings
Be pacified now, in this very instant!
ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། ཨོྃ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་མ་ཧཱ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་རཱ་ཛ་ས་མུདྒ་ཏེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ནད་སརྦ་ཤཱནྟིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།
teyata om bhekanze bhekanze maha bhekanze radza samundgaté soha | né sarva sh anting kuru soha |
tadyathā oṃ bhaiṣajye bhaiṣajye mahā-bhaiṣajye rāja-samudgate svāhā | né3 sarva śāntiṅ kuru svāhā |
ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནད་ཚབས་ཆེ་ཆུང་དང་བསྟུན་ལ་ཚར་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་སོགས་གང་འགྲུབ་བཟླས་ན། རྣམ་སྨིན་མ་གཏོགས་ནད་ཀུན་ཞི་བར་ཐེ་ཚོམ་མེད་པ་སྨན་མདོ་རྒྱས་བསྡུས་གཉིས་ནས་གསུངས་སོ། །

This is clearly stated in both the long and short medicine sūtras.
